I have hair that is straight, thin and 2 in past my shoulders. It is also layered. should i wear clips? a headband? etc? curl it?!

if you have a sallys in your area . (beauty supply store) go get the ion brand in the blue can root lifter. it will help you get volume it does me i have the same kinda hair. for my graduation i sprayed it on my roots (dont over spray) . then i blow dryed my hair upside down . My hair is layered kinda in a shag gives me the most volume. you can try curling just the ends. try not to over doo your hair do. i wouldn't put anything in your hair but thats me. you can always doing a poof on the front top part of your hair. just take a comb and gather a triangle section of hair on the top front(crown) lightly teeze underneath spray with hairspray and comb very lightly to get even and then bobby pin it down on the top of your hair(hard to describe but it looks good on me). i could show you my wedding photos of my hair its a good look too. you can email me at pug_lover_fe94@yahoo.com for the pic.
