How can I style my hair like the following pictures?

I went to the hair salon and I got the hair cut like it, but the stylist says I have to style my hair to make it stick out.

I don't know whether to use gel or mousse or what. Suggestions, please?

use a texturizing wax and apply it to small strands of hair while bringing them out away from your face.

garnier fructis also has a bunch of products for texturizing and wax and putty stuff. if you want, you can finish the style with hairspray

there are some really great gels out there i think herbal essences has really great stuuf look for it in the blue bottle and its called set me up its the max hold gel

pantene has a new line of styling products, there is one, that you can spray on each piece of your hair, and flip it out with ur fingers. its som much easier than taking a curling iron and curling it. it should say something like it will give you a piecy look. hope this helped.
